Two new members were inducted—Frank Kenney and John Lowe. Jim Tucholsky gave an interesting report in the Patriot minute about his Patriot Ancester’s involvement in the Battle at Guilford Courthouse, and Will Ashmore presented a program about the Lexington and Concord battles. Chapter President, Bill Elder presented the America’s 250th minute. The meetings are held at Louies Pizza, Port Orange, FL

The Daytona- Ormond SAR meeting on Saturday, 9/16. We inducted 4 new members: L to R: Steve Butt, Bill McIntyre, Kelly Crumley, and Josh Page. The program was centered around the US Constitution. The 17th was the day it was signed by 39 of our Founding Fathers in 1787. We play US Constitution Trivial Pursuit. There were many prizes awarded to the top players. Everyone received a copy of the Constitution. The Sugar Mill CAR made a presentation of their project. Individual pics of President Colin Matthews and Curator Catherine Klocinski. Members of the Col. Arthur Erwin and Sugar Mill DAR Chapters were present, as well as, four other friends and family. Will Ashmore joined as a transfer from Pennsylvania.

Induction Ceremony for a New Compatriot
The induction ceremony for a new compatriot, John Nunnelley. His parents are there with him. (His father, Ken, was inducted just a few months ago.) His mother, Sissie is there in support.
Wreaths Across America
A group picture of the Children of the American Revolution that participated and another picture is the speakers Randal Morris of the Flagler SAR and Bill Elder. Also, a picture of the Sugar Mill Regent Sissie Nunnelley (one of the organizers). There were over 60 people at the event: the Sugar Mill Daughters of the American Revolution, Arthur Erwin Daughters of the American Revolution, Flagler Sons of the American Revolution, Daytona-Ormond Sons of the American Revolution, as well as, the Sugar Mill Children of the American Revolution, and parents. 59 wreaths were placed on veteran graves.

November meeting on November 19, 2022, at Louie’s Pizza in Daytona
The SAR had its November meeting on November 19, 2022, at Louie’s Pizza in Daytona. They honored our veteran in attendance, Lance Langlotz, and swore in a new member—David McKeown. Here are the photos from that meeting.
