American Revolution War Club Ormond Beach – The Sons of the American Revolution honors our Revolutionary War patriot ancestors by promoting patriotism, serving our communities, educating and inspiring future generations about the founding principles of our Country.

To join either SAR, you must be able to prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who supported the cause of American Independence between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783.

• Acceptable Patriot Service: This includes military service, civil service, or other patriotic efforts like providing supplies, serving on committees of safety or correspondence, taking oaths of allegiance, or defending forts.
• Lineal Descent: You need to show a direct parent-child bloodline connection for each generation back to your Patriot ancestor. This requires thorough genealogical research and documentation.
